Only a few might not know about the songwriter and singer Sia. If you still do not remember her, you might have heard or seen the video of her hit song from last year ‘Chandelier’. Well, today’s story is about Sia as how she impressed her fans with her kindness.
On November 27th, Sia went out to a Walmart and then started paying for the groceries of the people there. The 42 years old singer tries to keep her identity low key by wearing a wig that was covering the whole face which makes it difficult for her fans to notice her. But last week, one day before Thanksgiving, she was finally identified as she was surprising her fans with an act of kindness.
Sia entered a Walmart and then started telling everybody her name to be Cici and that she has won the lottery. She then went on to pay the grocery bills for total strangers.
But it was not long after her cover was blown by a true fan who asked her for a photo.
People were really amazed and happy with her actions. One person tweeted, “I love that she has done this to not get any recognition for showing this kindness but to be actually a really kind person.”
One person tweeted about her act of kindness, “She did not want others to know as to who she was or why she was doing this.”
This came after her act of surprising her fans wit her total honesty back in October. She revealed to her fans about her struggles with her neurological disease called Ehlers Danlos. She used this disclosure of her personal life as a way of inspiring other people who are suffering from similar struggles.
She said at the time in a tweet, “Hey, I’m suffering from chronic pain, a neurological disease, Ehlers Danlos and I just wanted to say to those of you suffering from pain, whether physical or emotional, I love you, keep going. Life is f– hard. Pain is demoralizing, and you’re not alone.”
