Guide on unlocking the hidden Easter eggs for Android Messages

Last month Google presented new support for Desktop Browser for the Android Messages. With this new support, Android users will now be able to send their text right from their PCs. Like any other Google apps, it would not be a complete one if it did not have any hidden Easter Eggs.

Users are aware of these hidden Easter Eggs and they have been digging up hard to find these words as well s phrases that can act as a shortcut for the “Kamoji”. Kamoji are the little Japanese emoticons which look a little bit like this, ٩(ఠ益ఠ)۶.

Most of these Kamojis have been carried over to the Android Messages app on a desktop browser from Google Hangouts as per the information from one Reddit user.

For our readers, we have made a list of some of the ones that we have tested beforehand. However, there are still some elaborated tricks from the Hangouts that still don’t seem to work. The Kamojis that do not work includes some codes such as “/ponystream” which then produces a herd of the galloping My Little Ponies as well as “/shydino” which creates a tiny dinosaur that runs around finding for a cover. Well, it is still better than to have nothing.

How to use these Codes or commands on the Android Messages:-

In order for a user to execute these commands for the Android Messages on a PC, the user needs to simply start a message by typing ‘Forward Slash’ and then writing the word they want to use.

It is to be noted here that these Kamoji commands only work when they are typed at the start of a message. Few of the hidden Kamoji Easter Eggs for Android Messages on PC are s follows.

  • /shrug or /shruggie — ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • /sunglasses or /dealwithit — ( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
  • /tableflip — (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
