Scottie Maurice Pippen is a retired American basketball player, known for serving in the Chicago Bulls. He is part of the Bulls list of legends and has won six NBA championships. Pippen played a major role with Michael Jordan, turning basketball into an international sport and securing the Bulls’ place in the game’s history. Pippen is widely considered one of the best small forwards of all time. He was also named to the All-NBA first team three times, twice to the All-NBA second team, twice to the All-NBA third team, eight times to the defensive first team, and the second time to the All-NBA. -Defensive team: the honor of the second team in the lineup twice.

- Scottie Pippen participated in the 1987 NBA Draft and was selected as the fifth overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics. They then handed him over to the Bulls in exchange for Olden Polynice and future draft picks.
- On November 7, 1987, he made his NBA debut against the Philadelphia 76ers and scored 10 points, 2 steals, 4 assists and 1 rebound, helping the Bulls win the first game of the season. He averaged 7.9 points per game in 79 games at the end of his first NBA season.

- This idea ultimately angered Pippen, who led the team in Jordan’s absence all season. He sat on the bench and refused to re-enter the court.
