YouTube app is soon going to return to Amazon Fire TV devices

Lately, Youtube and Amazon have patched their differences to be friends again. Now with their friendship renowned, the popular Youtube app is also soon going to return back on Amazon’s Fire TV smart TVs as well as their Fire TV devices.

Likewise, Amazon Prime Video will now also support the functioning over the Chromecast devices as well s the Android TV devices.

According to Amazon, Fire TV devices are soon going to come in the few months. As for the apps such as Youtube Kids and YouTube TV, they will also be available on the streaming media devices of Amazon later this year.

YouTube’s Global Head of Product Partnerships, Heather Rivera said in a statement, “We are excited to work with Amazon to launch the official YouTube apps on Fire TV devices worldwide. Bringing our flagship YouTube experience to Amazon Fire TV gives our users even more ways to watch the videos and creators they love.”

With the return of the Youtube app on Fire TV deices, the year long dispute between Amazon and Youtube is now finally over which left Youtube to remove their app from the streaming devices of Amazon back in 2017.

Despite the customers being able to browse Youtube through Fire TV web browser, the user could not receive the best quality for picture and sound.

Now, with the Youtube app once more making its comeback on Fire TV devices, users will now be able to stream videos in up to 4K quality in HDR with up to 60 fps.

Same is the case for the Prime Video app for the Android TV deices and the Chromecast as they will be making a comeback in the coming few months. Customers of the 4K supported Fire TV device will soon be able to see the content of the Prime Video for up to 4K resolution.

This is going to be great for the customers who were unwillingly caught up between the feud of two major tech companies.
