Samsung makes pledge to improve the camera of Galaxy S20 Ultra following issues seen by reviewers

After the early reviewers of the Galaxy S20 Ultra found some faults in the camera of the new phone, Samsung responded to the issues. The company has assured its customers that they are working currently on an update that will improve the camera system. Still, this does not mean that Samsung has acknowledged or confirmed any specific problems or when the new update is going to be made available.

The issues reviewed by reviewers on the camera system of Galaxy S20 Ultra were found in its overbearing skin smoothing and focus hunting.

Samsung said in its statement to tech media, “The Galaxy S20 features the groundbreaking and advanced camera system. We are now working to optimize the performance for delivering the users with the best experience. As a part of this ongoing effort, we have also been working on a future update for improving the overall camera experience.”

The reviews on the camera system of Galaxy S20 Ultra highlight the autofocus system of Galaxy S20 Ultra camera to be unreliable and it’s also often taking too long for locking on a subject as well as sometimes even fails to lock on a subject. In addition to this main problem, the camera also causes aggressive image processing in certain situations where it causes skin smoothing to occur excessively.

This is such a conundrum for the Galaxy S20 Ultra because this camera system for the Galaxy S20 Ultra was its main selling point which has the 108MP sensor as well as the periscope telephoto lens that as per Samsung can be zoomed in by 100 times.
