Apple might launch its very own version of Tile to help us find lost items

It seems as if Tile is going to have a competitor and it’s not going to be a small one either.

Apple is working on their version of Tile which will make use of the iPhones to help the users keep track of their own personal items.

This new gadget that Apple Company is probably going to unveil this fall soon, is going to be quite similar to the Bluetooth tracker of Tile.

According to news about this new gadget, this will be a tag that could be attached to any personal item and will also be tied with a user’s iCloud account. As for tracking, these Apple Trackers will only rely on the iPhone for the location of the object. Even if the user becomes separated from the item, they will receive a push notification on their iPhone.

Other Features:-

There are also many other features of this Apple tracker which are actually cooler than that of Tile. These Apple trackers will also be able to save the contact information. So if a user puts the object in lost mode, any iPhone user who finds it can use the info to get it to you easily.

There is also the feature of sharing the location data of some specific tags with family and friends. According to reports from media, “Apple is trying to make use of its vast source of active Apple device like iPhones, iPad, and Macs to create something like a crowdsource. This will help the users find any of their lost items by simply using this new gadget.”

Apple combining 2 major apps:-

In addition to all this, Apple is also planning to combine two of their popular apps; Find My Friends and Find My iPhone.

This will allow the users to keep track of their devices even if they are not using these new Bluetooth tags.
