The fitness app of Mi Band is not that great because it is riddled with a lot of problems like not being able to keep track of the sleep and the steps and also it does not keep track of the total calories a person burnt in a day, week or a month. Instead, it focuses on things like how many miles have the user walked, ran or have cycled.
For those who plan to buy these affordable Mi bands, they should be aware that it will not be that much helpful in displaying the useful data. But still, there are lots of other apps that can be paired with the Mi bands in place of the Mi Fit to have a better track of their activity. The most recommended app for pairing with Mi band is Google Fit.
For this purpose, we present a guide on how to pair the Mi band with the Google Fit.
Steps on pairing Mi band with Google Fit:-
- To start the pairing; open the app Mi Fit and then tap on the profile button located on the bottom right corner of the screen. User will be directed to the overview of their account and the devices that they have paired with the app. There will also be many other settings that the user can adjust.
- Scroll down the menu and tap on the option “Add Accounts”. The Mi Fit app will then automatically present the user with an option to pair with the apps like WeChat and the Google Fit. From there click on Google Fit and confirm its sync. By doing so, the user will now be able to see their activities on the Google Fit app but still, have the Mi Fit icon displaying next to any type of data.
- For those users who do not like to use Google Fit anymore, they need to again go to the Add Accounts setting of the Mi Fit and then tap again on the Google Fit. It will show the option “Remove Form Google Fit’. Click it to unpair the Mi band from Google Fit.
